Questions before purchase
Is there a possibility to test Xtreme One or the Childthemes?
As of right now there is no possibility to test Xtreme One prior to a purchase. But we put up a demo for every Childtheme to preview the look and feel of a Childtheme.
Do I have to pay a monthly payment if I purchase Xtreme One?
No worries! In comparison to other premium theme / framework vendors we don’t offer a membership. You won’t get charged any additional charges in the future.
Do I receive updates for free?
Most certainly! We provide free updates and free support to all our customers because satisfied customers are important for us and we believe to a great product belongs a great service.
What do I get when I purchase Xtreme One?
If you buy Xtreme One WordPress Framework, then you receive a ZIP-file with all necessary files and the blank Childtheme. Furthermore, you receive free support in our forums, free updates and bugfixes. In addition, you will get access to our documentation and tutorials.
Can I use Xtreme One without a Childtheme?
The Framework/Childtheme concept is to use the Framework just as code base. For styling and for additional functionality or special adjustments you use the Childtheme. Therefore you keep your changes preserved after an update of the framework.
Xtreme One will be provided with a blank Childtheme. You can use this as a good basis to create your own Childthemes.
Can I use the Framework and the Childthemes for more than one website or for client projects?
Sure! There is no limitation. Please be aware, that we can provide only you, as our client, free support. If your client wants to have support, he has to buy a Xtreme One Framework license.
Are the images on the Theme demos included in my purchase?
No, due to the copyright terms we cannot provide the images in the Childtheme demos.
Can I modify a purchased Childtheme to my liking?
Of course, we would be even happy to see the results and if you like you can put the website up on our forum in the showcase section.
What are the minimum requirements for Xtreme One?
Xtreme One needs the free open source software WordPress since Version 3.0. It cannot be activated in lower versions. Furthermore you need
- A domain name
- Webhosting with PHP5
- A MySQL Database
Does Xtreme One work with WordPress 3.0 Multisite?
Yes, Xtreme One works without any problems with WordPress 3.0 Multisite. Actually our own websites, the Documentation websites in German and English, Knowledgbase and all Childtheme demo blogs are running on a Multisite installation with different Childthemes.
Does Xtreme One support the new menus in WordPress 3.0?
Of course, Xtreme One even offers additional features, like the positioning of the navigation or the choice of navigation stylesheets to each menu.
Does Xtreme One work with my Plugins and Widgets?
If you find a Plugin that does not work with our Themes, please let us know for the benefit of our members. We will not fix the Plugin or Widget, but you can suggest to the developer that they contact us for help integrating their Plugin/Widget with our Themes. If there is an error in Xtreme One, we will correct it as soon as possible.
Does Xtreme One and the Childthemes work on WordPress.com?
No. WordPress.com is a separate type of hosting system and unfortunately our themes are only designed to work with individually hosted WordPress installations. For more information, check out this the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
Purchase Questions
Which payment methods do you accept?
Our payment provider Avangate accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, sofortüberweisung.de, Giropay and more payment options. All payments get processed fast and secure via Avangate.
How does the payment process work? When will I get my themes?
After you select a theme, you will be taken to the checkout screen where you will need to fill in your information and to select your desired payment method with all required information. After your purchase you will receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email contains a link with your order status. After your payment went through, in most cases within 30 minutes (please see answer below), our payment provider Avangate will send you an invoice and a link to download your purchased product in two different emails.
I haven’t received an email yet. How long does it take?
Please note, if you pay via PayPal, in rare cases it can take up to 48 hours before a payment is confirmed. Especially with PayPal e-check or bank transfer. It may take up to 3-5 day until the payment is confirmed.
Who is Avangate? Are my payment information secure?
Avangate is a payment provider who is specialized for ecommerce payments on the internet. Avangate has its head quarters in Amsterdam and works since several years with big companies in the software- and online branch, like Kaspersky Labs, Lavasoft, BitDefender and more.

I bought several products or a bundle, but I received only one download link. Where are the other files?
For security reasons, you will receive a separate download link for each product.
Questions about Avangate Custom Area
What is the Avangate Custom Area and how can I log on?
After your purchase you will receive an email containing a link to the Avangate Custom Area. There you can create an account with your email address or order number. After that you will receive your login data via email. In your custom area you can check the order status, print your order confirmation, look up previous orders, print invoices and much more.
I need an invoice, where can I get one?
You will receive an invoice automatically via email. But you can log into Avangate Custom Area and download or print your invoice.
Support Questions
We offer our customers support via support forum , knowledgebase and extensive documentation. Available in German and English.
Do I have to pay for support?
No. We offer our clients free support in all questions concerning our products.
How do I register on the support forum?
Go to the support forum and click the register button on the top right. Type in all required information and put your Avangate Order No. into the “Order reference no.” field (not your invoice no.). Once successful registered go to “My Profile and click on the link “Join Groups” on the left sidebar and activate the group “Clients”. After we checked your registration we will confirm it and you can access all existing threads and also create new threads.
Do you also offer telephone and email support?
No, we do not offer telephone or email support, please use our support forum so other users can also benefit from the answers we give.
How long do I have access to the support forum?
As long as you don’t act against forum rules, you have lifetime access to the forum.
Do you also offer support for general questions about WordPress?
Due to time constraints we can only answer questions concerning Xtreme One and our Childthemes.
Legal Questions
Am I allowed to remove the copyright notice of Xtreme Theme in the footer area?
Yes.
Can I remove the YAML-Link?
You can remove the link to YAML homepage, since we purchased the YAML COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION LICENSE 1.0 (YAML CDL 1.0) it is not necessary anymore that you need to buy a YAML license to remove the link to YAML homepage. For further informatione please read YAML license condition.
Under what terms / license are your Framework / Childthemes released?
All of our products a licensed under GPL.
What is your refund policy? Can I get a refund after I’ve made my purchase?
Because of the nature of our products – which are digitally delivered and non-tangible goods – we cannot offer refunds or chargeback for purchases. Therefore, please read our FAQs carefully before purchasing one of our products.
